I was born and raised in Kampala Uganda. My success and achievements have been attributed to hard work, persistence, and a network of supportive friends and family.
I attended Nakasero Primary school and St. Mary’s Nabbingo for my primary education. Gombe Secondary School for my “O” and “A” level secondary education. Since education was an important aspect and foundation in my family, I aspired for a better education to achieve my goals. I moved to the states in the attempt to achieve a better life and education.
For the first year, I attended the Community College of Denver where I earned a Diploma in Public Relations and General Studies. I moved on to earn a B.A in Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Warren Buffet
“The power of unconditional love. I mean, there is no power on earth like unconditional love. And I think that if you offered that to your child, I mean, you’re 90 percent of the way home. There may be days when you don’t feel like it — it’s not uncritical love; that’s a different animal — but to know you can always come back, that is huge in life. That takes you a long, long way. And I would say that every parent out there that can extend that to their child at an early age, it’s going to make for a better human being.”

I’m a Ugandan who began my journey from Uganda as a student in the United Kingdom, after being awarded a scholarship to further my education in information technology.
I briefly returned home in Uganda where I started a computer center. This was known as Digitec computer training and information technology center from 1999 to 2001. After sighting some great opportunities in the United States, I decided to come and settle after a few friends’ aggressive advice. I applied and was offered a job at my present work place Sprint-Nextel communications as an Account Manager. I have served this company for the last 6 six years to date. Throughout my career, part of my job that I have mostly enjoyed has been sharing information and assisting others in solving customer issues. Educational background.
I completed Business Management and information systems studies from London College of Business and computing from 1995-1998.
I also completed a diploma in structured systems Design and Methodology (SSADM). I’m pleased to have accepted this role as a Board member within the Ugandan community in Denver Colorado. As a board member, I assist the community to meet and achieve the goals that lie before us. My primary focus is to serve my community and make sure it progresses to the next level. I look forward to the challenges and opportunities in this role.
I have lived in Colorado for the last 7 years and enjoy all that it has to offer. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my 4-year-old daughter Glenda, camping and socializing with friends.
A word of thought to the Ugandan community.
As we are all excited about the good news of the upcoming UNNA convention in Denver Colorado, It will take weeks and months of hard work, brainstorming, processes and procedures in place. Come September 2011, our visitors will leave Colorado completed satisfied with the whole experience while in town. Success will be attributed to early preparation and hard work from all of us. So please, I challenge all of you to donate a few hours of your free time in the near future for this cause. As we try to plan and put things together, come in meetings were possible and give us your thoughts and feedback. I’m proud to work alongside such community-minded people like you!
