Mr. Samson Muwanga and Ms. Rachel Takali arrived in Denver, Colorado in the spring of 1999 to pursue the American dream. They struggled for some years like everybody else but were able to settle and complete their studies in their respective careers. Samson  and Rachel met in 2008 and it was love at first sight. They have been together ever since and they have two beautiful little girls; Amber Namugenyi(7 years old) and Alexis Nsangi(4 years old).   Samson and Rachel are dedicated members of the Colorado Ugandan Community and always there to volunteer.  Samson and Rachel are entrepreneurs and they have always offered their premises to us(The United Ugandans Association of Colorado), for free to conduct community meetings because they believe in a strong community, togetherness and friendship.

Samson and Rachel’s message to the community is simple …”Life does not have to stop when you get kids. You can have a good time with your kids without taking the kids to a babysitter, and when it is time for the kids to go to bed then you can leave. we are encouraging togetherness and culture preservation..”, a true statement and we can all agree.

With apologies, Mr. Samson Muwanga and Ms. Rachel Takali would have loved to have the ceremony here in Denver, Colorado, but because of travel expenses for their families(from Uganda), it  was only fitting to have the wedding ceremony in Uganda. All community members who will be in Uganda are cordially invited for both the Kwanjula and the Wedding.
